The terms you ride by

Everything you agree to when you enter the Lefkara Classic, in one place. Register and you accept these terms. They sit alongside the rider waiver and cancellation policy you confirm on the form.

Version 2026-v1 · Effective 30 May 2026

01Eligibility

You must be 18 or older on event day to take part.

By registering you confirm that you are medically fit to ride an endurance road sportive and that you take part entirely at your own risk.

02Entry and payment

Entry is per route. Early-bird pricing runs until 30 June 2026, with regular pricing from 1 July 2026.

Registration and payment happen in one step. Payment is taken securely by card through Stripe, and your place is confirmed only once payment has cleared and we have sent your confirmation email.

03Cancellation and refunds

No financial refunds are made for cancellation, and entries are not carried over or credited to the following year. Please be sure of your plans before you register.

04Your bike and helmet

This is a road sportive. No e-bikes or pedal-assist bikes are allowed, and no flat-bar bikes such as mountain bikes.

A helmet must be worn at all times while riding.

05The route and navigation

The full course is not marked, only a few key points. It is each rider's responsibility to load the route onto a GPS device before the start.

Routes are provisional until the start and may change.

06Open roads and conduct

The ride runs on open public roads that are not closed to traffic. You must obey the Cyprus Highway Code, respect other road users, and ride responsibly at all times.

07Checkpoints and cut-offs

You must cross every official checkpoint within the cut-off times. Cut-off times are still to be announced and will be confirmed before event day.

Miss a cut-off and your time will not be scored, and you are no longer an official finisher.

08Withdrawals and on-course support

If you decide to withdraw, you must inform the organisers. Do not leave the course without telling us.

We will only commit to transporting you back to the start line if you withdraw at a checkpoint that is reachable by a motorised vehicle. We also reserve the right to return withdrawn riders to the start line only once the event has finished, so that the event keeps running smoothly.

If you withdraw because of a mechanical or physical problem, sweep vans run from the feed stations and can carry you to the finish. If you stop far from a feed station, you must call the organisers, who will arrange transport to the nearest collection point. Under no circumstances will a vehicle be sent to take you directly to the finish.

In the event of an accident it is mandatory to call the emergency number we give you before the start. The organisers will respond to the situation as quickly as possible.

09Respect for nature

Respect the landscape you ride through. Littering means disqualification. Carry your litter to the checkpoints and dispose of it there.

10Timing and results

Both routes are timed. Your full-course time is recorded by the timing system at the checkpoints. The timed segment is scored through Strava: upload your ride to Strava after the event and we will review the day's fastest times on the segment.

Results are published on this site after the event.

11Liability

You take part at your own risk. The organisers, The Agora Hotel, the volunteers and the sponsors are not liable for any injury, loss or damage you may suffer or cause in connection with the event.

12Photography and communications

Photographs and footage are taken during the event and may be used to promote the Lefkara Classic. By taking part you consent to this use.

You also consent to receiving communications from us about the event.

13Changes to the event

Routes, the schedule and cut-off times are provisional and may change. The organisers may alter, postpone or cancel all or part of the event where safety, weather, or circumstances beyond our control require it.

Questions about any of this? Write to hello@lefkaraclassic.com and we will talk it through before you enter.
